Why the service was set up

New Charter identified a need for an affordable gardening service, as some of their tenants were not able to maintain their gardens themselves due to disability, ill health or old age, and could not afford to pay a gardener. The service has since been extended and is now available to all New Charter tenants. Newscape has also enabled St Peter’s Partnerships to increase the number of training and employment opportunities it can offer local unemployed people.
