The Greenscape service was originally set up to carry out a planned programme of environmental improvements in Ashton Regeneration Area. At the same time, it provided an opportunity to recruit and train local unemployed people.

St Peter’s Partnerships recognised it would need a range of ‘not for profit’ trading activities to make itself financially sustainable. Greenscape now forms a major part of the charity’s trading arm.
