Why the service was set up

The service was developed because local people asked for our support in helping them to break down some of the barriers to work that they were facing. 

We set up a small one-stop shop at Cavendish Mill in 2005, supporting a service known as St. Peter’s People, which became the blue print for Enterprise Plus.

We have been working hard to develop what is now a thriving social enterprise employing 11 people.
