Frequently asked questions |
How can I get a job with Enterprise Plus?
As part of St Peter’s Partnerships which operates a ‘grow our own’ policy, you would need to start by becoming a volunteer.
What Volunteering Opportunities are there?
We currently have two trainee programmes in place - one for Personal Advisors and the other for Trainee Trainers. Once a volunteer has completed the Trainee programme, they may be able to join our casual workforce which can then lead to further paid job opportunities.
How do I become a volunteer?
If you are interested in volunteering with Enterprise Plus, phone 0161 214 8470 to make an appointment. You will need to fill in a volunteer application form, and have a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check done. We will then match you with a suitable opportunity - most normally last around 12 months. We will provide you with all the training you need, and support you throughout your placement.
How do I get paid work with Enterprise Plus?
We recruit our casual workers from amongst our volunteers and directly from the local community. It is essential that you have experience of working with people but you do not need any qualifications as you can join our trainee programmes.
